Our Mission:

Through education, intern sponsorship programs and influencing legislation and regulation at the federal and state levels, our mission is to foster an environment of diversity and professionalism to nurture growth for the insurance and risk management professional.

 

 

Registration is OPEN for the 2018 RIMS Golf Outing on May 21, 2018 - Golfer and Sponsor Registration

The Pittsburgh chapter of RIMS will be hosting our fourth annual day of volunteering at the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank on Wednesday, June 20 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.  Please RSVP to Becky Gales (Rebecca.Gales@msasafety.com) by June 12 if you are interested in participating as space is limited. Volunteers will need to arrive at 8:45 a.m. and complete pages two through six of the attached onboarding packet prior to arrival.

The Pittsburgh Chapter Volunteers!

On June 20, 2017, the Pittsburgh Chapter of RIMS participated in the 3rd annual volunteering event at the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank packing boxes with food for local seniors in need.

    What is it and what are some practical considerations for the business community?

    Please join us as Patrick K. Nightingale, partner at Cannabis Legal Solutions, reform activist and medical cannabis patient, gives us an overview of
    Pennsylvania’s medical cannabis law.  Mr. Nightingale will discuss patient eligibility, criminal and civil protections for patients and practitioners, and
    some practical issues facing employees and employers as Pennsylvania’s medical cannabis program “takes root” and begins to “grow” to maturity.

    This will be a great session to attend!
